
The Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE), Effurun, Delta State, has announced the commencement of its supplementary Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session, inviting qualified candidates to apply for admission into newly introduced undergraduate programmes.
In a press release dated 1st September 2025, and signed by the Registrar, Dr (Mrs) E. Jane Omoyine, copies of which were made available to journalists in Warri on Friday, the university said the exercise was part of its academic expansion and admission growth strategy
According to the Registrar, the screening is aimed at admitting candidates into fresh programmes recently established across three of FUPRE’s colleges.
The College of Science now offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Petroleum Chemistry.
The College of Petroleum Administration and Management (CPAM) has introduced four new courses—Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Procurement Management, Petroleum Information Management, and Entrepreneurship.
Similarly, the College of Maritime and Offshore Studies has commenced B.Sc. programmes in Maritime Transport and Logistics, as well as Maritime Economics and Finance.
Eligible candidates must have scored at least 170 in the 2025 UTME, missed the earlier FUPRE Post-UTME screening, and not secured admission elsewhere.
Applicants must also satisfy both UTME and O’Level subject requirements relevant to their chosen courses.
The screening fee has been set at ₦2,000, with the application deadline fixed for Sunday, 14th September 2025. Screening exercises will run from Monday, 15th September to Tuesday, 16th September 2025, at the university’s Ultra-Modern ICT Centre, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Interested candidates are required to apply online at https://utme.fupre.edu.ng, by completing the registration form, uploading a passport photograph and credentials, and printing out the confirmation slip.
