Former Migos rapper Offset was reportedly shot at a Florida casino Monday night, a representative for the rapper confirmed.

The 34-year-old, Lawrenceville native, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was reportedly shot near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Seminole County police said a shooting happened around 7 p.m. in a valet area. Two people have been detained, police said.

“Seminole Police were on site immediately and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal,” police said in a statement.

One of those is US rapper Lil TJay, real name Tione Jayden Merritt, who has been charged with disorderly conduct.

Police said Offset was hospitalized at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood with non-life-threatening injuries.

A representative for the rapper said he is “currently at the hospital receiving medical care. He is stable and being closely monitored.”

Migos rapper Takeoff, whose real name was Kirsnick Khari Ball, was shot and killed in Houston in 2022. The group split after Takeoff’s death.

Offset is best known for being part of the hip-hop trio Migos along with Quavo and Takeoff.

Multi-platinum group Migos first went viral with the song Versace in 2013.

Another hit followed in 2017, Bad and Boujee, which made it to number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

They have been described as one of the most influential groups of their generation.

Offset was previously married to Cardi B between 2017 and 2022. The couple have three children together.
