Man United Star Luke Shaw Fears exit from club
Manchester United player Luke Shaw has confided in friends over fears that his time at the club could be coming to an end after a row with Jose Mourinho over his fitness.
The 20-year-old pulled out of United’s clash with Swansea City before the international break with Shaw informing Mourinho on the day of the game that he was unavailable.
Shaw arrived at Old Trafford on a £30m deal from Southampton in 2014 and was thriving during his second season at the club before a horrific double leg break against PSV Eindhoven.
In Shaw’s absence this term, Marcos Rojo or Daley Blind have filled in a full-back and the youngster’s confided in friends that he’s unsure whether he features in Mourinho’s long-term plans, according to the Daily Mail.
Mourinho tried to sign Shaw when he was Chelsea manager in 2014 but blasted the defender’s wage demands, claiming that he would have destabilized the club’s wage structure had he moved to Stamford Bridge.
