ESUT Students protests over no school fees no exam policy
Students from Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT), Enugu State has staged a peaceful protest against the school management tagged ‘No School Fees No Examination’ policy of the institution.
The students, who took the protest to the Government house in Enugu complaining about the adverse effect of the policy, expressed their innermost feelings by the use of various placards. The placards had different inscriptions notifying the hardship which the policy is causing.
The students lamented that that their fellow students were driven out of the examination halls because they were yet to pay their school fees. ”First semester exams started yesterday and many students were driven out of the exam hall because of non-payment of school fees,” an aggrieved student said.
The students staged a protest to force the school administration to stop executing the No school fees No Exams policy.
