One of the two best-graduating students of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) for the 2023/2024 academic session, Samuel Akinade Badekale, has celebrated his academic milestone of graduating with a perfect CGPA.

Badekale, a student of the Department of Cell Biology and Genetics, alongside another student from the same department, Damilare Haroon Adebakin, graduated as the overall best students at the institution’s 55th convocation after achieving a perfect CGPA of 5.00 each.

Taking to his X account on Thursday to celebrate the achievement, Badekale extended gratitude to God for the milestone.

According to him, his academic success is a testament to the fact that dreams come true.

He tweeted, “This is a testament that dreams come true! B.Sc Cell Biology and Genetics with perfect CGPA (5.00/5.00) Overall Best Graduating Student 2023/2024 @UnilagNigeria Numerous awards & records broken. God did it! Proverbs 22:29 #unilag #UNILAG2024Convocation.”
