Director-General of the National Youth Service Crops (NYSC), Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has assured corps members that they have a greater stake in Nigeria’s future.

The NYSC DG stated this while addressing corps members during the swearing-in ceremony of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1, orientation course at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Paiko Local government area of Niger state.

He said that Nigeria belongs to all citizens, but corps members have a greater stake in the country’s future as the survival of the country is in the hands of young people.

“Nigerian belongs to all of us, but you have more stakes because you are young, brilliant, educated and you have a bright future ahead of you.

He said that the welfare of corps members was well taken care of as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had increased their allowance from N33,000 to N77,000.
