CJPAN’s Election: Ola Muhammed Emerges President 

The Celebrity Journal Publishers’ Association of Nigeria, CJPAN, has on Monday 1st of May, 2023 held her first executive election. The election, which was conducted via open ballot system; saw Comrade Olanrewaju Muhammed, the publisher; Islanders Magazine/online TV as its new President.

Comrade Olanrewaju Muhammed, an easy going fellow,who is to lead the organization for the next two (2) years, is an experienced media practitioner based in Lagos State.

In the same vein, Olowosegun Funmi has also been announced as the organization’s deputy president.

In his acceptance speech,the newly elected President, Olanrewaju Muhammed thanked the electoral chairman, Mr. Ebenezer Ogunleye and the entire body, for conducting a credible election that echoes the good image of the association.

He also thanked Engineer Bode; the external observer for his patient and brilliant electoral contributions,in conducting a fair and hitch free election.

While appreciating the former executives members; led by Mr Joshua Uloko, and other members, Olanrewaju thanked them for the unprecedented confidence bestowed in him, as he promised not to disappoint, or let the prestigious association down.

He therefore vowed that, his administration will try as much as possible, to fulfill his manifestos, as CJPAN secretariat would be his first assignment, which he said would be accomplished sooner than expected.

Olanrewaju also expressed his unflinching desire, to move the association forward against all odds. In his words,he emphasized that, “The time is now, we are not getting younger, all our visions, projections and proposition for a better CJPAN must be put to work with immediate effect”.

The highlight of the event, is the loud jubilations that greeted the announcement of the winner.
