CIA Inducts 56 Covenant Varsity Graduates

The Chartered Institute of Administration has inducted 56 Business Administration graduates of the Covenant University into the associate membership grade of the institute after they passed its professional examinations.

The President, Council of CIA, Samson Olopade, said this, according to a statement on Tuesday, during the induction ceremony at CU campus, Ota, Ogun State, adding that the Vice Chancellor and Registrar of the university also had the Fellowship Award conferred on them.

The statement partly read, “The Chartered Institute of Administration has conferred the prestigious Fellowship Award of CIA on both highly qualified Vice Chancellor and the Registrar of the university. Similarly, 54 Business Administration graduates of the university were inducted into the associate membership grade of the institute, having successfully fulfilled the prescribed course of study and passed the professional examinations of CIA.”

The President, Council of CIA, Samson Olopade, congratulated the inductees and urged them to adhere to the institute’s code of ethics.

“The institute’s code of ethics include placing public or employer’s interest above self interest in your respective organisations. This has been a great challenge to the nation as many professionals have failed in this regard,” he said.

The Vice Chancellor, CU, Prof. Abiodun Adebayo thanked the institute for the recognition bestowed on him and thanked the CIA for partnering with CU to produce high quality Business Administration graduates.
