Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy has made history again as he sells out the 80,000-capacity London Stadium in the United Kingdom.
Burna took his ‘Love Damini’ tour to the London Stadium backed up by his band, “The Outsiders’ where he gave a spectacular performance.
With the venue completely filled with fans who trooped out to experience the awe-inspiring craftsmanship of ‘Odogwu’, he became the first African in history to ever achieve such a feat.
As many as forty-nine songs from his superb discography were included in the set list he delivered for the enthusiastic audience, cladded in a wide-collared, brilliant orange skirt-and-pant suit.
Top UK acts, including Stormzy, Popcaan, Dave & Jhus, made guest appearances at the concert, the first ever to be solo headlined in a UK stadium by an African artiste.
The management of the London Stadium acknowledged Burna Boy’s achievement on its Twitter handle.
“Now sold out!! @burnaboy’s RECORD-BREAKING concert has now officially SOLD OUT!
“What an incredible achievement for the first ever African artist to solo headline a UK stadium!”
