Bowen University expels female students for fighting in the hostel

Some 300 level students of Bowen University have been thrown out of the hostel with their things after they were involved in a fight with some Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) students.

A fight had broken out between the students when an IJMB student accused a 300 level student of splashing water on her while she was having her bath. The IJMB student had gone on to call her friends and a shouting match started between them and the 300 level students of the school. Things soon degenerated into a fight when one of the students was said to have slapped another.

The fracas attracted the hall porter who proceeded to throw them out with their belongings. Fighting within most university premises usually has dire consequences as harsh as outright expulsion.
