Bishop Oyedepo Commissions Ultramodern Health Equipment & Postgraduate Hostels in CU
The founder of Covenant University Bishop David Oyedepo has commissioned new ultramodern health equipment and hostels for postgraduate students as part of the activities marking 13th Founder’s Day Ceremony of the institution on Wednesday, October 21, 2015.
The event which was held in the school’s auditorium drew members of the Living Faith Church known as Canaan Land; the church pastors by the Proprietor, the University’s management; academic board, staff and students. It was a time to thank the Almighty God for his faithfulness and goodness over the institution’s affairs for the past 13 years.
The new commissioned equipment at the University Health Centre were Computerised Tomography (CT) Scan, Mammography machine, Digital X-ray machine, 3-Dimentional Colour Ultrasound Scanning machine with Trans-vaginal and Cardiac Probes and Electrocardiography (ECG) machines.
Meanwhile, at the School of Postgraduate’s Hall of Residence, two blocks of hostel with 120 rooms each and a 400 seat capacity Cafeteria was commissioned.
The Chancellor, Dr David Oyedepo advised the postgraduate students to study to make impact and not only to earn degrees. He equally enjoined them to make the best use of the facilities available proffering tangible solutions to their generation.
