If Hoola by Benefit is your ride or die bronzer, gird your loins because two brand spanking new shades are coming your way.
While the original Hoola has been around since the dawn of tan, Benefit did release a second shade shade in 2017: Hoola Lite.
Designed to give a “natural-looking tan on fairer skin types”, Hoola Lite was a game-changer for paler skin tones, who found that the original Hoola just didn’t quite work for them.
Now Benefit is giving the same treatment to deeper skin tones, with the release of two new shades: Hoola Dark and Hoola Caramel.
Leaked by Instagram account Trendmood1, the two deeper shades were revealed to be part of Benefit’s upcoming Spring 2019 collection. While we have limited information at the moment, we do know that we can expect these to drop around April in the UK.
If the comments are anything to go by, these bronzers have been a long time coming, with one user writing “It’s about damn time!!! Us dark skin girls want a bronzer too”.
It was only earlier this year that Benefit faced criticism for the shade range of their latest foundation, Hello Happy. The sheer formula was released in 12 shades, which many people didn’t think was enough, especially when Fenty Beauty had just released an impressive 40.
Hopefully, the two new Hoola additions are just the start of Benefit’s new direction.
