BELLSTECH Sets to Award 28 Students with First Class Degree
28 students out of 334 graduating students of the Bells University of Technology will be awarded first class degrees in different disciplines. According to punch, this was revealed by the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Oludele Ojediran during a briefing on the University’s forthcoming 8th convocation ceremony in Ogun state slated.
Prof. Ojediran disclosed that a total of 122 students would receive first degrees in the Second Class Upper category; while 108 students would receive Second Class Lower degrees and also 76 students would
receive third class degrees.
He also said that the institution has introduced new courses and secure approvals for students by the National Universities Commission. He added that the institution has set a process of implementing a conversion programme in motion, allowing the holders of the Higher National Diploma, affected by the B.Sc/HND dichotomy, to have the opportunity to upgrade their certificates to B.Sc degree status.
