A deed that may very well have been the last piece of physical evidence of Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore‘s relationship has officially been terminated. The paperwork designated the co-ownership of a Hollywood Hills home not as Kutcher and Moore, curiously enough, but Kutcher and his then-stepdaughter Rumer Willis. According to The Blast, documents filed by Willis in early August end that partnership between Kutcher, Willis, and also Kutcher’s wife, Mila Kunis, who had legally become a part owner of the property upon her 2015 marriage to the actor.
Kutcher and Willis bought the home together in 2009. Per The Blast, the two-bedroom, four-bathroom ranch-style property spans 1,800 square feet and set back the duo a grand total of $971,500. The August filings reportedly show that Kutcher and Kunis have granted Willis their 50 percent share of the home and that “All debt owing under the note, deed of trust and any related loan documents has been deemed paid and satisfied in full.” Though the documents don’t explicitly state whether Willis bought out Kutcher and Kunis for their stake in the home, property records reportedly show that the house was sold for $572,500 around the same time those documents were filed, which could feasibly constitute half of the home’s current property value and, thus, the amount Willis paid the Kunis-Kutchers for full ownership.
Without the Hollywood Hills home, Kutcher and Kunis still have a pretty impressive deed collection. Their primary residence is a three-bedroom, four-bathroom, 7,351-square-foot mansion in Beverly Hills, which they purchased together in 2014 for just over $10 million. And in the summer of 2017, the couple dropped another $10 million on a sprawling oceanfront beach house just up the coast in Santa Barbara. That home features six bedrooms and six bathrooms, an outdoor entertaining space, and views of both the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Ynez Mountains.
