Ashflame collaborates with Small Doctor on sophomore single ‘Pelemo’

Ever since talented and energetic act Olugbenga Samuel a.k.a Ashflame made his debut officially with his maiden single ‘Sekosi’ (released officially on the 5th of May, 2016), which received acclaim from music buffs and critics alike, the Ondo State indigene who hails from Akure has never looked back in his quest to occupy his pride of place in the ever competitive music scene.
The budding artist, who has been actively honing his musical skills since he turned 18 and later decided to go professional at the age of 23, is currently basking in the euphoria of the performance of his sophomore single titled ‘Pelemo’ which features Small Doctor, much so as his dance competition is gradually gaining attention.
Throwing more light on how fans can partake in the dance competition, Ashflame, who is signed a music contract with international platform, Desbor Heartbeat Empire (D.H.B.E) said; “All you need do is to make a one-minute dance video of my first two singles ‘Sekosi’ and ‘Pelemo’. What you do next after making the video is to upload the video on Instagram with the Hashtag #PELEMOCONTEST #SEKOSICONTEST and copy @EMPIREHEARTBEAT and @ASHFLAME47.
“The winner stand a chance of winning the sum of N100, 000 (One hundred thousand naira only) and will also have the opportunity of featuring on my forthcoming video titled Package which will be shot very soon.” He noted.
Describing his person and his kind of music, Ashflame says he has a rich repertoire of songs while also revealing that music is a means of communication for him.
“I am an expressive person and I have found a veritable tool to express myself, through my passion which is music. I have a serious thing for music such that, I had been toying with the idea of taking up music as a profession for a very long time before I decided to take it up officially at the age of 23.
“But before then, I had always followed and allowed myself to be influenced by great musicians like George Benson and Fela Anikulapo Kuti. I love Jazz too, and you can also find traces of it in most, if not all of my songs.
