Artist Unveiling: Imanse hits Naija music scene, drops EP
Afro pop sensation, Imanse announced herself into Nigerian music scene at a fusion of good music, pleasant personalities, fashion parade, scintillating ambiance and more.
The banker turned music star was all shades of electrifying as she unveiled her EP. She ensured a memorable night for the guests as she did a fine rendition of some hit tracks such as ‘Anosike’, ‘Sarewale’, ‘Hehe’ and ‘Original Somebody’.
One unique thing that stood out for this diminutive singer was her stage performance, it was devoid of the usual sing along style. She performed with a live band to the delight of the guests.
Prior to her performance, a host of upcoming acts opened the event with fine artistic talent display. A flurry of models strutted the runway a little later to add colour to the exciting and memorable evening.
Guests that attended the occasion include Brymo, Simi, Immaculate and Fiokee. Others are Mimi Onalaja, Uju Ifejika– Chairperson Brottania U, Eric Opah– MD Fortune Global and Madam Tessa Ikimi among others.
Imanse’s recent arrival has seen her worked with notable names in Nigeria music scene such as Cobhams Asuquo and DJ Coublon among others.
Speaking at the event, Imanse said, “I have always looked forward to this day. I have been working tirelessly to make it worth the while for everyone and I am pleased to have you all join me as I launch out to the big stage.”
She further added that, Nigerian music industry has the right platform to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country through talented artiste who are poised to deliver good contents and lyrics that will educate, entertain and edify everyone.
