John Terry strike pose with Drake after beating Arsenal 3-1
Chelsea skipper John Terry decided to celebrate his side’s memorable 3-1 win over Arsenal with a night-out to watch Drake perform at the O2 Arena last Sunday.
The 36-year-old defender shared a picture of himself and his wife with the Canadian rapper alongside a caption, which reads: ‘Good to see you @champagnepapi. Unbelievable show tonight @toniterry26. What a pic this is.’
Terry has not been able to nail a starting berth under Antonio Conte since his ankle injury and the impressive form in which David Luiz is currently enjoying under the 3-4-3 formation, with suggestions Terry might leave the Stamford Bridge in the near future.
Although, the Blues boss has talked about Terry’s importance in the team despite his reduced role, he said: ‘I want to underline that our captain is John Terry,
He’s our captain and he’s doing the job very well and helping me a lot. Not only me but also his team-mates.
‘His attitude and behaviour is fantastic.
‘Gary is vice-captain and he’s captain on the pitch when John doesn’t play.
‘I think he’s playing very well and he’s showing his quality. He’s a really good defender and I’m happy for him.’
Terry has also said hinted he contended with his position in the squad since the side are grinding out results.
