Rite Foods Throws Weight Behind FESBACH FREE Summer School powered by Y.I.E.L.D. (PHOTOS)

After five weeks of Intensive Coaching and one week of Vocational Training, the 2026 FESBACH Summer School powered by Y.I.E.L.D. Foundation which started on July 26th finally ended on Saturday 5th September with a Closing Session and Prize Giving Ceremony.

 

The Summer School which started in 2010 and in its 12th session received a huge support from the Food and Beverage company, Rite Foods Limited. The company provided a substantial amount of the Bigi products including Bigi Sausages, Bigi Drinks, Water and Gifts Items for the students. 

Speaking on the partnership, Ekuma Eze, Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Rite Foods, stated that:

 

“We’re always motivated by the need to support youth development initiatives as part of our EYEC CSR framework (Education, Youth Development, Environment and Community Development).

 

“We believe that any investment in the youth is an investment in national development”.

 

FESBACH Summer School Program is an initiative of Y.I.E.L.D. (Youth Impact and Empowerment through Learning and Development) Foundation in collaboration with FESBACH [Federal Estate Baptist Church] College. This annual programme is designed to provide free academic support, vocational training, and personal development opportunities to underserved youth in the Abesan-Ipaja community of Lagos State.

 

The Summer School provide an intensive learning and empowerment programme that combines core academic instruction with hands-on vocational training, equipping students not only for academic success but also for self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and responsible citizenship. The programme also provides an avenue for social interactions among the Abesan community youth without the barriers of religion, tribe or creed.

 

This year’s programme had a huge turnout as close to 350 students attended the summer school.
