56 Students Graduate With Distinctions As Kogi Poly Approves 2024/2025 Results

The Academic Board of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, has approved the results of the 2024/2025 academic session.

A statement issued on Tuesday by the school’s Director of Public Relations and Protocol, Uredo Omale, said the approval was made during the 127th meeting of the Academic Board, held on Monday.

“The Academic Board of Kogi State Polytechnic has considered and approved the second-semester results of ND II and HND II students from various departments and programmes in the institution.

“A total of 56 students graduated with Distinctions across the programmes, with 20 in the National Diploma (ND II) and 36 in the Higher National Diploma (HND II) programmes,” Omale stated.

The meeting, held at the Academic Office Complex, was presided over by the Chairman, Professor Salisu Usman, who commended the Central Result Verification Committee, led by the Deputy Rector, Dr Samuel Olowo, for conducting a thorough and professional review.

Usman also praised the Deans of Schools, Heads of Departments, and the Director of the Information Technology Resources Centre (ITRC) for their diligence and commitment throughout the results processing period.

“The Rector expressed profound appreciation to His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for providing an enabling environment for education to thrive in the state.

“The support of the state government has been instrumental in strengthening the Polytechnic’s academic frameworks and infrastructural growth,” Omale added.

Usman urged graduating students to remain exemplary ambassadors of the institution and encouraged those still in school to remain focused.

He reaffirmed the management’s commitment to transparency, academic integrity, and the overall development of students across all disciplines.
