LASG Facilitates Police, Youths Dialogue On Security

The Lagos State Government and the state police command have opened dialogue with youths to strengthen collaboration and build mutual trust towards improving security and community safety across the state.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 2025 Police Youth Dialogue held on Tuesday at the Assbifi Event Centre, Alausa, Ikeja, the Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mobolaji Ogunlende, emphasised that all hands must be on deck through effective partnership with law enforcement agencies to safeguard lives and property.

Ogunlende noted that the event’s theme, “The Power of Partnership: Cultivating Trust and Understanding Between Youth and Law Enforcement Agencies,” captures the essence of the initiative — bridging divides, fostering dialogue, and promoting safer, more inclusive communities.

“This dialogue provides an invaluable opportunity for our young people and security operatives to interact openly, share perspectives, and forge meaningful partnerships that advance peace and community safety,” he said.
