…Stakeholders commend Hon. Akindele for her transparency and all-inclusive governance
The Tender Opening held in the Secretariat Hall of Mosan Okunola Local Council Development Area in respect of the six vital road projects has shown the thorough, transparent and all-inclusive governance of Hon. Akindele Adunni Opeyemi,the Executive Chairman of Mosan Okunola LCDA.
Hon. Akindele in assuring the Community of a special focus on infrastructural projects, said all projects will stand the test of time, adding that it is no more business as usual as there are shifts in priorities and needs for new approaches.
The Vice Chairman of the LCDA, Hon. Omoba Abiodun Falade Akintola, who played tripled roles as the Executive Chairman representative , and the Chairman of the Tender Committee Board, in his address ,appreciated the presence of the Stakeholders, Councilors, APC Party Leaders, Contractors, Chief of Staff, and the entire Management Staff, the Community Development Committee (CDC)Chairman, Community Development Association (CDA) members and all other Guests present.
The Tender Opening for the reconstruction of the six vital road projects within Mosan-Okunola LCDA as stated are as follow; the 2nd Avenue dual carriage road Abesan Estate, Modupe Street, Abesan Estate, 51 Road, Gowon Estate, Powerline road, from Lion of Judah road to Odemuyiwa Street, Okunola, Boys Town Bus stop to terminate at the Retail Market and Town Planning Way to Federal Bus stop in Shagari Estate.
In line with the best procurement practices and due process, the Tender Opening was done openly by the Tender Board Committee Chairman, Hon. Falade Akintola alongside the Procurement Unit head, Mr Shittu where the Tender Bid box was opened and all the contents in the brown envelopes were read as quoted for.
It was a commendable start as all present confirmed it through its thorough and transparent processes.
Alhaji Yisa Yusuf, APC Party Leader, expressed with excitement that this new dispensation, led by Hon. Akindele, Mosan Okunola LCDA has never experienced such an all-encompassing, open and ambitious projects execution process, while the Community Leaders, respectively with enthusiasm said in one voice and concurred, especially in the administration’s transparency and all-inclusive governance.
The CDC Secretary, Mr. Femi Ojo with all sincerity commended the administration for its proactive approach, transparency, commitment and the zeal in taking Mosan Okunola LCDA to a massive transformation with a very positive impact that will surpass all the lofty heights.
As the Chief of Staff, Hon. Tolulope Falope said the vote of thanks, he added that the reconstruction, God willing, would be completed within a record time of the Hundred Days in Office of this administration as that will serve as a tip of the iceberg.
Alh. Waheed Orire, Alh. Lawal Taofik, Engr. Olatunbosun Joshua Oduntan, and Pa Akinfala were the other All Progressives Congress(APC) Party Leaders in the Tender Opening program.
