Media personality Toke Makinwa has declared that she will not step down her lifestyle regardless of the country’s economic situation.
Nigeria is currently grappling with severe economic challenges, prompting some citizens to prepare for protests against poor governance and deteriorating financial conditions.
In a video shared on her Instagram account, Makinwa asserted her determination to maintain her standard of living despite the economic downturn.
She boasted that God, her father, got her backing and no matter how tough it gets, she cannot settle for less.
In the video, Toke Makinwa is heard saying, “I told you, all my friends and loved ones in this season, no matter how tough the economy of the jungle gets, the lion will never eat grass. We are the children of the lion of the tribe of Judah. Do you know what that means?”
She continued, “I don’t care what the economy is saying, we don’t settle for less. Do you know who our father is? We get backing. God does not come late. Do you know who my father is?”
