Calvary Sets to Hold First Mid-Night of Laughter
In the bid to celebrate the resurrection of Christ Jesus and 2016 Easter season, Calvary International Christian Center, Ijoko-Lemode, Ogun State has put together a comedy event tagged ‘He Came to Make You Laugh’.
The ‘gospeltainment’ night of varieties of Comedy, Drama, Praise, Words and lots more is scheduled to commence at 10pm on Friday 25th March 2016, at the Calvary Cathedral, on km 4 Agbado-Ijoko Road, Ogun-State.
The General Overseer and host Pastor, Dr. Bayo Ogundipe mentioned that the theme ‘He Came to Make You Laugh’ portrays the essence of the price Jesus Christ paid when he shouldered the misfortunes, sins and sorrows of the entire world, and was nailed on the Cross at Calvary. Interestingly, his resurrection from the dead on the third day brought freedom, joy, peace, and laughter among others.
The event which will feature stellar performances from the likes of Sweet Steve, DVD Comedian, Boy of God, MC Gold, Lafta Fada, Mide Coker, MC Pashun, Altar of Praise Mass Choir, Sheep Fold Drama Ministry and special appearances from fasting rising comedian Rubbertainer and SimpliMichael, will be anchored by a Master of Ceremony extraordinaire MC Obems.
The night promises to be a night of laughter indeed and life changing encounter as all forms of sorrows will be completely and permanently replaced with laughter through the power of resurrection.
