FG Declares Public Holidays for Easter Celebration
The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Friday, 25th and Monday, 28th March, 2016 as Public Holidays to mark the Good Friday and Easter Celebrations.
According to the Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, who made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government in a statement by the Acting Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Alhaji Muhammadu Maccido on Tuesday, all the Christian faithful and Nigerians in general are enjoined to support and co-operate with President Muhammadu Buhari in his sustained efforts to build a peaceful, united and virile Nation.
He further urged all Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for peace and unity across the Nation.
