SPOTLIGHT ON RISING FEMALE RAPPER, BEAMBO TAYLOR

Her debut single, “Fun Won Finish” created a huge buzz in the Nigerian music scene and threw her up as one of the budding artistes to watch out for.

Adeniran Abimbola Ajibola with the stage name Beambo Taylor is a sensational Nigerian MC/rapper/singer and songwriter. She embodies what you would call a full fledged musician. Beambo is surely a dose of fresh air whose rapping skill is top notch. She exhibits  her versatility  and skills with the way she creatively blend her native  Yoruba language  with English, delivering a unique sounds.

She’s always on top of her game and exhibits great confidence in all her freestyles.

A combination of style, flow, witty lyrics and unique tone contribute to her standout sound which has drawn fans from across the globe.

Born and bred in Lagos and has a degree in Mass Communication. Music has always been a part of her,  participating in several music groups and events all through her education.

She is an advocate of domestic violence against women as this is one message she never cease to preach using her platforms.

She comfortably unifies the fearlessness of the new generation and the wisdom of the old. Her music speaks for itself.

She wants to be a shining light for every young girl out there in the world.

Beambo picked interest in Rap at age 14 by listening and miming the songs of Rap divas like Eve, Nicki Minaj, among many others. She later matured into writing her own songs and lines.

Her creative artistry caught the attention of the guys at the fledgling record label, Bhadder Boiz Music Group (BBMG) Records who offered her a recording contract.

She has graced the stage of many top notch events such as: OLIC – Olamide Live In Concert, Itesiwaju Eko Concert, MerryBet Celebrity Fans Challenge, Lagos at 50, The Summer Vibes Concert, Oxymoron of Kenny Blaq, Davido Live in Ado-Ekiti,  The Street Concert by Reminisce among many others.

COVID-19 pandemic presented a challenge for many of the emerging stars of 2020 with lockdown meaning they couldn’t perform live. This period gave Beambo the opportunity to reinvent herself and her music, and she used the social media to keep connecting with her fans by dropping live freestyle videos on Instagram and Tik Tok.

With 3 singles (Fun Won Finish,  Ye and Energy ft Nessy Bee) to her credit, Beambo is definitely working her way up in the male dominated rap/hiphop music scene in Nigeria, and she’s ever ready to take on the world.

She’s currently working on her EP that will be dropping this summer.
