Canadian rap artist Tory Lanez was apprehended on felony charges early Sunday in Los Angeles.
Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, made a bond and was released from Hollywood jail.
According to TMZ, tory was arrested for carrying a hidden weapon in his car. Law enforcement officers reportedly responded to a disturbance call in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. When they showed up, witnesses reported that people were arguing in an SUV before someone fired shots in the air and the car took off.
Officers had reportedly hunted the vehicle down and found Tory, Megan Thee Stallion and another woman.
Megan was reported to have been taken to the hospital for a foot injury, presumed to have been from shattered glass on the vehicle floor.
