South Africa TV presenter described as “Africa’s first lady of entertainment,” Bonang Matheba, has told her critics that whatever she is presumed to be doing with her body is basically her own concerns.
According to She Leads Africa (a nongovernmental organisation that helps young African women achieve their professional dreams), Bonang Matheba is a South African television host, radio personality, and business woman who hosts the red carpet for international celebrity magazine E!, while she is also the brand ambassador for Revlon South Africa.
Bonang also mentors South African girls and is regarded as an inspiration due to her passion for African women and woman empowerment, the NGO reports
A male critic reportedly incurred Bonang’s wrath when he allegedly came online to rattle off the names of the men that Bonang had supposedly been with.
In anger, the entertainer responded via a tweet, stating unapologetically: “My vagina. My rules.” The tweet generated 2,000 ‘loves,’ 656 retweets and 276 responses.
Her fans would have none of the accusation, though, as they swamped the twitterspace with messages of support for their heroine with the hashtag #IAmBonang:
