vivo Nigeria has officially launched an exciting nationwide online dance challenge, inviting young Nigerians and creative enthusiasts to showcase their talent for a chance to win a share of N3.5 million in prizes.

The challenge, designed to celebrate creativity, self-expression, and the vibrant energy of Nigeria’s youth, encourages participants to create and share unique dance videos inspired by a specially crated soundtrack. The challenge which was curated for vivo by Hermes, a professional dancer, will run across Instagram and TikTok platforms, offering a dynamic space for users to engage, compete, and gain visibility.

Speaking on the initiative, Adedayo Olawuwo, Marketing Manager of vivo Nigeria, said:

“This dance challenge is more than just a competition – it’s a celebration of Nigeria’s vibrant youth culture. We are excited to provide a platform where creativity meets opportunity, and where young people can express themselves while winning amazing prizes.”

Participants are required to use the Y31d song on vivo Nigeria’s Instagram or TikTok page. Recreate the #Y31dStayActive dance, post it and use the hashtag for a chance to win a grand prize of N500k, and 14 other runners-up will win N200k each. The UGC campaign will run from March 10 to April 7, 2026.

Top participants will stand a chance to win cash prizes, smartphone, and exclusive brand merchandise, with a total prize pool valued at N3.5 million. Winners will be announced at the end of the campaign period following a thorough review by a panel of judges and audience engagement metrics.

As part of its commitment to empowering young creators and deepening its connection with Nigeria’s digital community, vivo Nigeria aims to leverage the growing influence of short-form video content to spotlight emerging talents across the country.
