26 First Class Emerge as OOU Ago-Iwoye Graduates 8,122 Students
26 first class students have emerged and 8,122 graduated at the 23rd/24th Convocation Ceremonies of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Ago-Iwoye, held Tuesday, 6th, 2015.
Speaking at the event, the vice-chancellor, Prof. Adejimi Adesanya who gave the result breakdown said that 26 of the graduating students, bagged first class degrees, 1, 333 graduated with second class upper division, 4,925 bagged second class lower divisions, 2, 239 bagged third class while 699 got pass.
The VC added that the best graduating student is Miss Ayorinde Damilola, from the Department of Plant Science and Applied Zoology with a cumulative grade point average of 4.86.
In the postgraduate category, the school graduated 1,159 students with 98 bagging Ph.D, 850 master’s degrees while the remaining 211 bagged postgraduate diploma.
The vice-chancellor in his closing remark congratulated the fresh graduates.
