25 South African Students to appear in court
Twenty-five students from the University of Western Cape (UWC), South Africa are expected to apply for bail in the Belleville Magistrate Court today.
The Students were arrested for public violence following clashes with police on campus more than a week ago.
Charges were withdrawn against nine other students last week.
The State asked for the matter to be remanded pending bail information.
One of the students is charged for contravening the Explosive Act after he was allegedly found with a petrol bomb.
More than 500 students have been arrested since the start of the Fees Must Fall protests across South Africa over a month ago.
