2023 Galaxy A24, A34, And A54 Set To Pack Exceptional Cameras

..As Samsung Reportedly Decides To Cut Down On Rear Shooters

Samsung Galaxy A smartphones have improved a lot in the photography department thanks to the company bringing better camera hardware like OIS to midrange phones. Samsung is now planning to focus more on the core camera experience by removing depth sensors from some future Galaxy A devices.

Some of the future Samsung Galaxy A series phones may only have three rather than four cameras on the back, reports South Korean publication The Elec. Samsung is supposedly ditching the depth sensor from the 2023 Galaxy A24, A34, and A54 smartphones to reduce costs and focus more on the main, ultrawide, and macro shooters.

Per The Elec, the Galaxy A24 will pack a 50 MP main, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 5 MP macro shooter. Similarly, the Galaxy A34 is expected to rock a 48 MP main, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 5 MP macro sensor.

The Galaxy A54 is said to be employing a 5 MP ultrawide in addition to the 50 MP main and the 5 MP macro camera. The 5 MP resolution of the ultrawide snapper, which would be a step down from the 8 MP of the Galaxy A24 and A34, seems to be a mistake.

With Samsung reported to be bringing a massive sensor to the Galaxy S23 Ultra and the company’s renewed focus on strengthening the camera performance of the midrange Galaxy A devices, 2023 is building up to be an exciting year for Samsung enthusiasts. The Elec expects Samsung to release the Galaxy A34 in March and the Galaxy A54 in April of next year.
