Akinwumni Ambode

He is the present Governor of Lagos state. He ran the office of the Governor of Lagos State in 2015 as a member of the ruling All Progressive Congress. He had also worked as a civil servant for 27 years before going into political ambition. He obtained a bachelor and also a Master’s degree in Accounting from the prestigious university of Lagos.

Prof. Yemi Osibanjo

He is the current Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He assumed Office in May 2015, also a senior Advocate of Nigeria. He studied for his undergraduate degree in Law at the University of Lagos. He is also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Professor of Law and until his inauguration as Vice President, a Senior Partner with SimmonsCooper Partners, a commercial law practice.

Oba Rilwan Akiolu

He is the incumbent traditional ruler, Oba of Lagos. He was crowned on August 9, 2003 after his predecessor Oba Adeyinka Oyekan. He obtained Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Lagos.

Though the king has no political power, but is sought as a counselor or sponsor by Nigerian politicians who seek support from the various residents of Lagos.

He obtained a masters of Science degree from the University of Lagos.

She is an Alumna of the great University of Lagos; she obtained a Ph.D from the University of Lagos in 1977 and joined the institute of international Affairs at the University of Lagos. She was formerly the Foreign minister of Nigeria and has been the Permanent Representative of Nigeria to the United Nations in New York since 2008. She is also the First woman in the history of Nigeria to uphold the position of the Permanent Representative to the United Nations. She has also worked as Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs.

She has contributed immensely towards growth of Nollywood and she was in 2011 awarded by the Federal Republic of Nigeria as a Member of the Order of the federal republic.

He was the former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State in 2009.
