10 Distinctions as PCN Induct 92 UNILAG Pharmacy Graduates
Speaking at the event, the UNILAG Vice-Chancellor, Prof Rahamon Bello, who was represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics), Prof Duro Oni, said that 10 of the graduates bagged distinctions.
He urged the new inductees to continue striving for excellence in their various disciplines.
In his reaction, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof Boladele Silva, enjoined them to buckle up ahead of a new beginning which, according to him, would come with some challenges.
The Registrar of the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria, Elijah Muhammed, who administered the induction oath on the graduands, advised them to avoid engaging in any practice that will endanger the lives of the public.
He said: “You are coming into the profession to lessen the disease burden.”
According to him, a little mistake can cost the loss of many lives, adding: “You are not coming to toy with the lives of Nigerians.”
