The Spice Girls are apparently planning a big Reunion Next Year.

All five members of the former ’90s girl group—yes, even Victoria Beckham—are reported to be reforming for a one-off TV special and a compilation album.

The Sun claims that Sporty Spice’s Mel C brought about the reunion after initially declining to rejoin the group earlier this year.

“The five of them have been locked in secret talks since the summer, and finally they are all on-board for a 2018 reunion,” an insider told the newspaper.

“As it stands, they will be working together on a series of projects, which will include an album and a TV special celebrating the Spice Girls.

“And getting Victoria to agree has been a coup for everyone involved, given she has always been the person holding back on a reunion.

“The fact she is on board now is down to how much closer the five of them have become recently.”

Geri Horner recently spoke about walking away from Spice Girls reunion project called GEM last year after working on a side-project to celebrate 20 years of the Spice Girls with former bandmates Emma Bunton and Mel B.

Geri also hinted that she was disappointed that Mel C and Victoria Beckham refused to take part in any 20th anniversary celebrations, telling Red Magazine: “I really pushed to get everyone back together. It got to the point where I just had to let it go. I still love the girls, and there are other bits and bobs in the pipeline.”

She added: “The group last performed together as a five-piece at the 2012 Olympics closing ceremony.
