During her entire pregnancy with North West in 2013, Kim Kardashian was not afraid to show off her growing curves.
Wearing a rotation of clinging dresses and form-fitting suit separates in shades of white with confidence, the mom of three redefined maternity style that reached its peak at the Met Gala.
Toward the end of her pregnancy, Kardashian stepped out with husband, Kanye West, for the first Monday in May in a custom Givenchy floral gown that hugged her bump. She teamed the daring number with matching gloves and high-heel sandals. Five years later, and the iconic ensemble was seemingly resurrected on the red carpet by another famous face.
On Saturday night, Kate Hudson, who is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa, wore a similar skintight dress that put her bump on full display.
Though, the two outfits are strikingly similar, we did notice a few subtle differences. Kim’s O.G. gown maintained a deep color palette with a pop of pink, while Hudson opted for a bright baby blue shade. And, rather than gloves, the actress’s version had partial hand coverings that let her fingers free.
Kate accessorized the clinging floral getup with matching blue heels and drop earrings, which were highlighted by her slicked-back ‘do.
While this will be her first child—a girl—with Fujikawa, Hudson is already a mom of two boys, Bingham Hawn, 6, and Ryder Russell, 14. Currently outnumbered by men, Hudson “looks forward to having feminine energy” around, according to People.
We can’t wait to meet Kate’s baby girl in just a few short months!
