Nigeria Needs Older and more Experienced Players – John Fashanu


John Fashanu, an English television presenter and former professional footballer of Nigerian and Guyanese descent, has declared that the match Nigeria has against Iceland on Friday, is the make or break.

Speaking on Channels television, John Fashanu also said that Nigeria needs older and more experienced players instead of too many in experienced youths. According to him, the Iceland team is experienced and the complete team came to Russia. The team is full of excitement and vigour and they cannot be underestimated. Fashanu added that he hopes the last experience with Croatia will have thought Nigerian players a lesson, as well as get them prepared for their meeting with Iceland.
