LeBron James Coached his son to a National Title

It’s no secret that LeBron James likes to be in control on the court – just ask Ty Lue. But if you’re a middle school team looking for a national title, you might as well take advantage.

The North Coast Blue Chips, which feature LeBron “Bronny” James Jr., did just that as they won the USBA National Championships in Charlotte, North Carolina, last Friday over Chris Paul’s team CP3. James Sr. was on-court to offer words of advice and support to his son’s team as they won 75-71 in overtime.

But this game between middle schoolers got heated. The refs had to issue warnings to the raucous crowd, give players technical fouls, and argue with angry players (Bronny included) over questionable calls. All the while, LeBron kept his cool and wrangled his rowdy team like the professional he is.

You can see LeBron having to handle a particularly heated situation and talk to the referees around 10:30.

James later took to Instagram to congratulate his sons.

However, the trip to North Carolina wasn’t all father-son bonding. Throughout the week of national championship play, LeBron was also spotted court-side with his daughter, Zhuri.

If all goes according to James’ plan, this won’t be the last time we see him sharing a court with Bronny.
