Kwara State Poly Introduces Card Readers for Examinations

The management of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin has introduced the use of card readers to authenticate students’ identity during examinations in the institution.

In a statement issued by the Kwara Poly PRO, Mr. Tosho Amuda, the card reader was a new technology aimed at identifying duly registered students.

According to Mrs. Olubunmi Ajibade, the Chairman of the Examination Monitoring Committee, who said that the sensitisation was to educate and supervisors the students on the use of the card reader, which is aimed at curtailing any form of inadequacies before, during and after examinations.

Ajibade expressed optimism that the implementation of the card reader would be successful during the first semester examination.

She urged students to comply with examination rules so as to have hitch-free examination.
