I Took Magic Mushrooms while Recording my New album, says Harry Styles

Magic mushrooms are a Class A drug and have been banned in the UK since 2005.

Harry Styles has admitted taking magic mushrooms while recording his upcoming album.

Styles, who was a member of boy band One Direction, said he experimented with the Class A drug at the famous Shangri-La studios in Malibu, California.

He told Rolling Stone magazine that, at one point, he bit the end of his tongue off while on the hallucinogenic drug.

“We’d do mushrooms, lie down on the grass, and listen to Paul McCartney’s Ram in the sunshine,” he said.

“I was standing when we were doing mushrooms and I bit off the tip of my tongue. So I was trying to sing with all this blood gushing out of my mouth.”

The musician says he took the drugs in the form of a chocolate edible which were kept in the studio’s fridge.

“You’d hear the blender going, and think, ‘So we’re all having frozen margaritas at 10 am this morning.'”

Magic mushrooms are psychedelic drugs, causing users to experience visual hallucinations with effects similar to LSD.
