Camila Cabello has cancelled her support act performance for Taylor Swift’s Reputation tour on Tuesday after being hospitalised.
The singer has been supporting the Look What You Made Me Do artist on her world tour, alongside Charli XCX, scheduled to perform in Seattle on Tuesday evening.
However, Cabello posted a short statement on Monday revealing that she is unable to perform after being taken ill following the Billboard Awards on Sunday night.
She wrote: “Yesterday after my performance at the Billboards, I was feeling really sick and ended up in the hospital to get checked out.
“The diagnosis was basically dehydration and I also had a low grade fever. The doctors have told me I really have to get rest otherwise I won’t feel better.
“I’m so sorry to let you guys down and I promise I will make it up as soon as I can. I guess sometimes I just push myself too hard and I promise I’m gonna take better care of myself.”
The former Fifth Harmony star also thanked her fans for her award at Sunday’s ceremony, picking up the gong for Chart Achievement and performing with Sangria Wine with Pharrell Williams.
Followers rushed to offer the support following the singer’s news, wishing her a speedy recovery.
Cabello is set to perform at Capital’s Summertime Ball next month at Wembley Stadium.
Rita Ora, Shawn Mendes and Craig David are also on the bill at the event.
